Got out metal detecting in the woods with the Fisher F70 metal detector.  I found some old coins, silver and other interesting treasure in an old park

Got out metal detecting in the woods with my Teknetics Eurotek Pro 11 DD.  I've hunted these woods/park in the past with not much luck.  The park is super trashy with a lot of iron and pop-tops.  Found some pretty interesting things.

Got out in the woods with my Fisher F70 for a few hours and got multiple silver coins, wheat pennies, brass button and some old shell casings.

I was able to determine that the "U" on the bottom of the shell casings is a Remington mark as in Union Metallic Cartridge Company.

Still don't know anything about the button other than it appears to be brass.

4 Ring Tot-Lot Hunt

Desperation and frozen ground forced me into the tot-lots.  I got out swinging my detector in the school playground and had a good time, even though I didn't find much.  It has been too long since I've been out metal detecting.
